Updating M-Files Web Companion

To update M-Files Web Companion:

  1. Click a document in the listing area with the secondary mouse button.
  2. Select Open in desktop app.
    Result:The Update M-Files Web Companion dialog is opened.
  3. Select Update.
  4. Wait for your browser to download the installer.
  5. Double-click the installer to start the setup.
  6. If a dialog about firewall settings is shown, let M-Files Web Companion use the domain and private networks.
  7. In M-Files, refresh your browser window.
M-Files Web Companion is updated and you can continue to edit documents normally.
