A value list contains various values, such as a list of city names. The same value list can be utilized in several different properties.
The following example illustrates the significance of value lists:
A value list is a kind of data type (data types will be described in more detail later). Creating and using value lists makes it significantly faster to specify metadata for a document. In many cases, selecting a value from the list is more sensible than typing it in each time. On the other hand, not all values can reasonably be selected from a list, such as the title of the object.
