Creating a user group

How to create a user group in M-Files Manage.

  1. Log in to M-Files Manage at https://manage.m-files.com.
  2. In the left-side page navigation, select Vaults.
    Result:The Vaults page opens.
  3. Select a vault name.
    Result:The vault information page opens.
  4. In the Enabled users section, open the drop-down menu from the heading and select User groups.
  5. Log in if necessary.
  6. In the User groups section, select Create.
    Result:The Create user group page opens.
  7. In the Name field, enter a name for the user group.
  8. You can add both users and user groups to the user group. You can also specify who can see the user group.
  9. Select Save to save the user group.
    Result:The user group is added to the User groups list.
