Organization Settings

Note: You must have system administrator rights to edit the organization settings.

On the Organization settings page you can manage your organization's basic information, appearance, and login options in M-Files Ment. The settings are divided into four tabs: Info, White-labelling, SSO, and M-Files.

Note: The M-Files tab is visible only when the M-Files integration has been configured.

Info

In the Info tab you can add or change your organization’s basic details in M-Files Ment. You can enter the organization name, upload a logo, and manage other general information. These settings help identify your organization in the M-Files Ment user interface.

The changes you make here apply to all users in your organization.

White-labelling

In the White-labelling tab you can change the look of the user interface. You can upload your logo, choose brand colors, and add custom text. These changes help match the M-Files Ment interface to your organization’s visual identity.

SSO

Note: You must have administrator rights to edit these settings.

In the SSO tab you can set up external login options for your organization. This lets users sign in to M-Files Ment with their existing identity provider accounts.

You can add and manage different identity providers in this tab. Each provider type has its own settings.

To set up SSO:

  1. Log in to your M-Files Ment account.
  2. Select the user icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Organization settings.
  4. Select the SSO tab.
  5. Select a provider from the Provider dropdown:
    • Azure Active Directory - legacy
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • M-Files SSO for integration
  6. In Provider settings, enter the necessary information.
    Client ID The unique ID of the application registered in your identity provider.
    Tenant ID The unique ID of your organization’s directory in the identity provider.
    Client secret A secret key created in the identity provider. The key is used to verify the client.
    Server URL The login URL of the identity provider. The URL is used to send authentication requests.
  7. Select one of these options:
    • Add SSO (for Azure Active Directory - legacy and for Microsoft Entra ID)
    • Issue new Token (for M-Files SSO for integration)

M-Files

Note: The M-Files tab is visible only when the M-Files integration has been configured.

In the M-Files tab, you can manage the document vaults connected to your organization. To add add new vault connection, enter the server URL and then select Add new vault. The vault list shows all configured vaults with their names or URLs.
