Giving Read Permissions to the Publishing Vault User

Third, give the user read permissions to published documents:
- Open M-Files Admin on the M-Files server used for publishing.
- In the left-side tree view, expand a connection to M-Files server.
- Expand Document Vaults.
- Expand a vault.
- Click Named Access Control Lists.

Do one of these steps:
- Click New Named Access Control List to create a
named access control list for the user.or
- Double-click an existing named access control list on the Named Access Control Lists list to edit the permissions of the user.
- Click New Named Access Control List to create a
named access control list for the user.
- If you started to create a named access control list, in Name, enter a name for the list.
- Click Add.
- In Users or user groups, select the user.
- Click Add.

Select the user and specify these permissions:
Permission Allow / Deny Change Permissions Deny Delete Deny Edit Deny Read Allow - Optional:
Do this step if your named access control list has all permissions set to
Allow for the All internal users
user group. Otherwise, skip this step.
- Click Add.
- Select All internal users and click Add.
- In the Users and user groups list, select All internal users.
- In the Permissions section, set the All permission to Allow.
- Click OK.
- Set the named access control list to all documents that you want to be accessed without credentials.
