This section is about the M-Files Hubshare user
interface. Click on different parts of the
screenshot below for a description of the areas in the user interface.
The screenshot is from a hub dashboard. The organization-level hub dashboard looks almost the same as
the hub dashboard. This section also tells you the differences between these dashboards.
Note: If you cannot find some options or operations in your dashboard, it is possible that your
organization-level admin or hub admin has disabled them.
Advanced search
Click the magnifying glass icon () on the sidebar to go to the advanced search view
in M-Files Hubshare. In Advanced search, use filters to
specify your search results. For example, you can search for files, projects, or hubs and
filter the search results by location, creator, or date. Click Search
to show search results.

Content area
The content area shows, for example, the content of modules, settings, and search.
Home page
The home page is opened when you log in to M-Files Hubshare. To go to the home page from another
page, click the home page icon () on the navigation bar. Your organization-level admin has set the home page for you.

Editing Hubs in the M-Files Hubshare admin guide.
Modules
Click the icon of the module on the sidebar to
use it. Your organization-level admin has set up the modules for you in the organization-level hub, and
the hub admin has set them up in a hub. For
information on how to configure modules, refer to Editing Hubs and Configuring Modules in the M-Files Hubshare admin guide.
My hubs
Click the my hubs icon () on the navigation bar to get access to your hubs.

You must have hub creator rights to create a hub. For more information, refer to Admin Types in M-Files Hubshare and Creating Hubs in the M-Files Hubshare admin guide.
Task list
Click the checkmark icon () on the navigation bar to see your tasks from all the hubs in the content
area.
In this view, you can do these operations:
- See the tasks that are on your to-do list.
- See the tasks that you have marked as done.
- Filter your tasks, for example, by location or type.
- Click the name of a hub to go to the project module.
Notifications
Click the notifications icon () on the navigation bar to see and edit your notifications in the
Notification center.
For information on how to edit the notification settings of files and folders, see File and Folder Properties.
Quick search
Enter a search term to the search bar on the navigation bar and press Enter to do a
quick search in M-Files Hubshare.
User icon
Click the user icon on the navigation bar to do these
operations:
- See your personal storage information and your organization's storage information.
- Select Settings to see and edit your user account settings. For
more information, see User Account.
- Select About to access user guides, confidentiality and
utilization policy, and to see your M-Files Hubshare version.
- Select Logout to log out from your user account.
