Creating user right templates for shared files and folders

Note: You must have organization-level admin rights to do this.

When a file or folder is shared, the sharing rights can be set with a preconfigured user right template.

To create a new template:

  1. On the navigation bar, select the user icon and select Settings.
  2. In the Administration section, select User rights templates.
  3. Click Create user rights template.
    Result:The Create user rights template dialog opens.
  4. Give a name and a description for the template.
  5. Optional: Enter translations for the name and description.
  6. Set the sharing rights for the profile.
    Tip: To see the names of the rights, hover over the icons.
  7. Click OK.
The user right template is now available when configuring user rights for shared files and folders.
