Editing Chat

Note: To create, edit, and delete content in a chat, you must have an internal user account. Your hub admin must also have given the necessary social rights for you.

You can only edit and delete the chats that you have created and the chats that you are invited to. Click the three-dots icon () in the top right corner of the conversation to edit or delete a chat.

Changing user rights in chats

To edit user rights in conversations:

  1. In the top right corner of the chat, click the three-dots icon ().
  2. Click Rights.
  3. Click the drop-down menu next to the user's name.
  4. Specify the user rights:

    Editing and deleting all messages X X
    Editing and deleting own messages X X X

    Like X X X X
    Read X X X X
    You cannot edit the rights of the hub creator. The hub creator has Administrator rights.
  5. Click Save.

Adding Tasks, Events, and Files to Messages

You can add a link to a task, event, or file in chat and feed messages in the Task, Event, and File tabs. You cannot add links to tasks in the organization-level hub.

  1. Click the keyboard icon ().
  2. Find the task, event, or file and select it.
  3. Click Save to add the link to a message.
When you click a link to a task, the Manage task dialog opens in the Project module. When you click a link to an event, the Calendar module opens and the event is shown. When you click a link to a file, the file is shown in the Files module, and the document is downloaded to your computer.
