Creating Hubs

Note: You must have hub creator rights to do this.

You can create a hub from scratch, with a hub template, or from file. When you create a hub, you get hub admin rights to it.

To create a hub:

  1. On the navigation bar, click the my hubs icon () and select Create new hub.
    Result:The Create hub widget is opened.
  2. Select From scratch, Use a template, or Import from .hub file.
    OptionDescription
    From scratch Creates a blank hub that includes the Dashboard module as default.
    From template Creates a hub from a preconfigured template. This option is not available, if there are no active templates yet.
    From file Creates a hub from an existing hub.
  3. Select the type of the hub from following:
    • Hub
      or
    • Template
  4. Give name to your hub and select its default language.
  5. Select Create.
    The new hub is opened and it shows the dashboard module. On the dashboard, you can add widgets to your hub or manage hub pages.
  6. To manage general hub settings, move your cursor to the Manage hub icon () on the sidebar and select the item you want to customize.
  7. When the hub is ready, hover your cursor over the Design icon () in the sidebar and select Active to make the hub available for other users.

The hub is created and all hub users can use it.
