Trusted Persons

Maintaining your M-Files Cloud operations requires a process for managing changes to the key personnel and the creation and handling of the vaults.

Your assignment of M-Files Trusted Person identifies the users who have approval authority in your organization for operations, such as:

• Unscheduled vault restarts
• Adding, removing, or editing vaults
• Installing and managing vault applications and add-ons
• Implementing integrations to external systems
• Migrations

M-Files sends the trusted persons the necessary technical information related to the vault. M-Files also sends the trusted persons information about incidents that have an effect on the vault. To get these messages, it is important that the contact information is up to date.
